- Salt, pepper and garlic salt
For the sweet bourbon sauce:

- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup bourbon
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- 1/3 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1.5 tsp. tabasco sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Preparation:
- Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, combine cornstarch, powdered sugar, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper.
Place a large saucepan over low heat and combine bourbon, 1 cup water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard, garlic, onion, Tabasco, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Increase the heat, bring the mixture to a boil, then slowly add the dry mixture to the liquid, stirring vigorously. Once the mixture is thoroughly combined, cook for another minute. Turn off the heat.

Fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until medium-rare. Top each patty with 2 strips of bacon. Top each patty with a thick slice of smoked cheese and let it melt.
