Guacamole sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3 Haas avocado, peeled and pitted
  • Juice of one lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
  • 2 plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Preparation:

  1. Place the avocado flesh and lime juice in a large bowl and mix well. Once the avocado is completely coated with lime juice, drain the juice into another bowl. Add salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper and mash with a potato masher.
  2. Then add the onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and garlic. Pour in 1 tablespoon of the remaining lime juice. Let the sauce sit at room temperature for 1 hour, then serve.
