Crispy chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups premium wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 120 g butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate

Preparation:

  1. Sift flour, salt and soda into a large bowl and mix.
  2. Using a mixer on medium speed, beat the granulated sugar, butter, and vegetable oil until thick, about 5 minutes. While beating, add 1 teaspoon of water and vanilla extract. Reduce the speed to low and, while continuing to beat, gradually add the eggs, then the flour a little at a time. Turn off the mixer. mixer, add chocolate to the dough and mix with a spatula.
  3. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Spoon the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing it 2 inches (5 cm) apart. Bake until the cookies are set, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely.
