Grilled bok choy topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- Several small heads of bok choy (500g), each cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 cup sweet and hot chili sauce
- 1 tbsp. l. rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Preparation:
- Prepare the grill: If using a gas grill, turn all burners to high, heat until hot, then reduce heat to medium. For a charcoal grill, light the charcoal.
- Prepare the sauce: Mix sweet and hot sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil and soy sauce.
Meanwhile, place the bok choy in a microwave-safe dish, cover, and microwave for 3-5 minutes. Stir in the prepared sauce.
- Grill the cabbage, turning once, until charred, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve with the remaining sauce.
