Preparation:Combine the juice of 5 lemons and 3/4 cup each of sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat, add 1/2 cup of basil leaves and the zest of 2 lemons (cut into wide strips) and let steep for 45 minutes; then strain. Add 2 cups of cold water, then pour the liquid into a baking dish and freeze for 1 hour. Meanwhile, scoop out the pulp from 6 lemon halves and freeze them. Scrape the ice with a fork; leave in the freezer for another 4 hours, scraping every hour. Serve the fruit ice in lemon bowls. Ingredients:
