Ingredients:
- 30 ml of absinthe
- 1 sugar cube
- 90 ml of chilled water
- Special equipment: absinthe spoon and lighter
Preparation:
- Pour the absinthe into a rock glass. Quickly soak the sugar cube in the absinthe; just drop it into the bottom. Then remove the sugar cube.
- Place an absinthe spoon on the rim of a glass and place a soaked sugar cube on top of the spoon. Light the sugar cube on fire and let it caramelize for 10-20 seconds.
Slowly pour water over the sugar cube, allowing the sugar to dissolve in the glass. Stir with an absinthe spoon. Serve the Green Fairy without ice.
