Ingredients:
For the tea syrup:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup fresh mint
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 bag of black tea
For one serving of cocktail:
- 70 ml. bourbon
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 1 tbsp tea syrup
- Carbonated water
- Lemon slices and mint leaves, for garnish
Preparation:
- Prepare tea syrup: Combine water, honey, and fresh mint in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add the tea bag, cover, and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain the syrup through a sieve and cool.
- Prepare a cocktail: Fill a shaker with ice, pour in the bourbon, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of tea syrup. Then shake the shaker and strain the cocktail into a glass. Add ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish the cocktail with a lemon wedge and mint leaves.
