Granola with peanuts topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 cups raw peanuts
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 4.5 cups of Hercules flakes (breakfast cereal)
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 3/4 cup white sesame seeds
- 3/4 cup apple jam or applesauce
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup clover honey or other liquid honey
- 1/3 tbsp. brown rice syrup or rice malt syrup
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons canola or sunflower oil
- Chocolate chips for decoration
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 155°C.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly. Spread the mixture evenly on 2 baking sheets and bake for 40 minutes to an hour, turning halfway through. Let cool and store in an airtight container. Exit: 10 tbsp.
