Excellent English tea

Ingredients:

  • Irish Breakfast Tea
  • Milk
  • Sugar cubes
  • Lemon slices
  • Honey

Preparation:

  1. Fill the teapot with cold water and bring it to a boil. When the water begins to boil, pour a small amount into the teapot to warm it up. Rotate and tilt the teapot to do this, and drain the water before filling.

    For each cup of tea, place 1 heaping teaspoon of tea leaves (without packing them down) into an empty, warm teapot. Pour boiling water into the teapot and steep the tea for 3-6 minutes, depending on the type of tea leaves.

    Gently stir the tea to aerate it before pouring it into cups through a strainer. A foam should form on the surface. Serve with milk, sugar cubes, or lemon and honey.
