Hawaiian Grilled Beef

Ingredients:

  • 700 g beef tenderloin, cut into 0.5 cm strips
  • 1 pineapple, peeled and sliced ​​lengthwise
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • A 1.5 cm piece of fresh ginger.
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic
  • 1.5 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped mint leaves

Preparation:

  1. Mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, and water. Marinate the meat in this mixture overnight in the refrigerator, placing it in a plastic bag.

    Preheat the grill to high. Thread the meat onto skewers. Grill over hot coals until desired doneness is achieved, about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.

    Place the pineapple chunks on the grill. Grill on both sides until the natural sugars brown and grill marks appear, about 2 minutes per side.

    Place beef skewers on grilled pineapple pieces and garnish with mint.
