Ingredients:
- 225 g of shell-shaped pasta
- Coarse salt
- 1 cup chopped cooked steak
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cooked bacon
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped blanched green beans
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp garlic pressed through a garlic press
- 3/4 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
- Freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain. Rinse with cold water to stop the pasta from cooking in its own heat. Transfer to a large bowl.
Add steak pieces, bell pepper, green beans and bacon to the bowl with the pasta.
- Prepare the dressing: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic, Parmesan, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss well. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
