Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 package (560 g) of dry brownie mix
- 0.5 cups vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 large eggs, separate the whites from the yolks
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 packages of 220g cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (400 g) of condensed milk with sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup seedless strawberry jam
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9 x 13-inch (22 x 32 cm) pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and 2 eggs; stir with a spoon 50 times. Add nuts, if desired. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually whisk in the condensed milk. Whisk in the remaining 2 eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated. Spread the mixture evenly over the warm brownie.
- Stir the jam until smooth. Spoon a teaspoon of jam over the top of the cheesecake. Gently run a knife through the jam, creating a marbled pattern. Bake for another 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Let the dessert cool for 1 hour. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut the dessert into bars.
