topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons strawberry jam
  • 4 slices of raisin bread
  • 2 tbsp almond flakes
  • 0.5 tsp finely chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 120 g of brie cheese, remove the rind, cut the cheese into 0.5 cm thick slices.
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Preparation:

  1. Spread 1.5 tablespoons of strawberry jam on each of the 2 slices of bread. Sprinkle each with half an almond and mint. Arrange the Brie slices on top. Top with the remaining two slices of bread.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Spray the sandwiches with cooking spray. Place the sandwiches, spray-side down, in the hot skillet. Cover the skillet and toast the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Spray with cooking spray, flip, and toast the other side.
  3. Remove the sandwiches from the pan. Cover and let rest for about 3 minutes. Cut into 4 pieces and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar.
