Ingredients:
- 1 kiwi, peeled
- 1 large orange, peeled
- 0.5 cup blueberries
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 12 chocolate-covered strawberries
- Chocolate covered strawberries:
- 70 g dark chocolate
- 450 g strawberries, washed
Preparation:
- Cut the kiwi and orange crosswise into 4 slices, then cut each slice into 3 pieces to make 12 pieces of each fruit. Thread 2 blueberries onto a skewer about 1/3 of the way through, add a kiwi slice, a pineapple wedge, an orange wedge, and top with a chocolate-covered strawberry.
- Chocolate covered strawberries:
Yield: 6 servings of 3 medium strawberries each
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place about two-thirds of it in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir occasionally, very gently, until the chocolate melts, about 1 minute.
- Remove the bowl from the double boiler and add the remaining chocolate, stirring gently until melted. Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and place them on waxed paper. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set.
