Smoked guacamole

Ingredients:

  • 2 avocados
  • Half a small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large clove of garlic, grated or crushed into a paste
  • 1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, seeded and finely chopped, plus a tablespoon of adobo sauce
  • A small handful of fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Preparation:

  1. Peel the avocado and place it in a bowl. Add the onion, garlic, pepper, adobo sauce, cilantro, lime zest, lime juice, and salt.
  2. Mash and add salt to taste. Serve with chips.
