Buffalo Turkey Dip for the Fans topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup spread with salad dressing
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup finely crumbled blue cheese, plus extra for serving
- 0.5 cups Buffalo hot sauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 packages of 220g cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 1/2 cups chopped roast turkey (remove skin)
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped, plus celery sticks for serving
- 1 medium carrot, finely chopped, + carrot sticks for serving
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Combine the spread, sour cream, blue cheese, hot sauce, milk, and cream cheese in a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl and stir in the shredded turkey.
- Spread the mixture into a 20cm square baking dish and smooth the surface. Bake until the dip is heated through and just beginning to darken around the edges, 25-30 minutes. Transfer the dish to a wire rack and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Top with chopped celery and carrots, then sprinkle with parsley and blue cheese. Serve warm with tortilla chips and celery and carrot sticks for dipping.
