Iced Mint Julep

Ingredients:

  • 10 mint leaves + a sprig for garnish
  • 1.5 tsp. ultrafine sugar
  • Seltzer
  • Crushed ice
  • 75 ml. Kentucky bourbon

Preparation:

  1. Place mint leaves in the bottom of an Old Fashioned glass and sprinkle with sugar. Muddle the leaves with a muddler. Add a splash of seltzer water, fill an Old Fashioned whiskey glass three-quarters full with crushed ice, and top with bourbon. Top with more seltzer water, stir, and garnish with a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
