Chipotle Lime Butter

Ingredients:

  • 110 g unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 tsp finely grated lime zest
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
  • 0.5 tsp granulated garlic

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, lime zest, mint, chipotle powder, garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon salt with a rubber spatula until smooth.
  2. Serve the butter at room temperature, or transfer it to a piece of plastic wrap, waxed paper, or parchment and roll it up, twisting the ends to form a tight log. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
