Ingredients:
The base of the dessert
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, chopped
- 1 package (280 g) standard marshmallows
Optional toppings (one of your choice)
- 2 packages (300 g) of mixed salted nuts
- 1 package (220 g) of sweet popcorn
- 1 package (400g) chocolate sandwich cookies, such as Oreo, broken into pieces
- 2 cups cinnamon teddy bear cookies + 2 cups chocolate teddy bear cookies + 2 cups honey teddy bear cookies + 2 cups animal graham crackers
- 4 cups potato chips + 4 cups mini pretzels
- 8 cups fish-shaped cheese crackers
Preparation:
- Spray an 8x8 inch baking pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper, leaving at least a 2-inch overhang on both sides.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in your toppings of choice until completely coated with the melted marshmallows.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish, press it evenly, and let it set completely at room temperature, about 1 hour.
- Pull the paper tabs to lift the dessert out of the pan. Cut into sixteen 5cm square bars.
