Caribbean Milk Punch

Ingredients:

    Cocktail

  • 30 ml of golden rum
  • 15 ml bourbon
  • 30 ml heavy cream
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, for sprinkling

    Vanilla syrup

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, cut in half lengthwise

Preparation:

  1. Prepare vanilla syrup:

    Combine 1 cup water, sugar, and vanilla bean in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool, then remove the vanilla bean.
  2. Make a cocktail:

    Combine 30 ml of vanilla syrup, rum, bourbon, and heavy cream in a shaker with ice. Shake until foamy.
  3. Strain the drink into a large glass. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
