April Fool's Lasagna: Banana Pudding Cake topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup strawberry jam
- 3/4 cup ricotta
- Bananas, waffles, vanilla pudding
Preparation:
- Prepare a package of instant vanilla pudding.
- Cut pound cake into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Arrange half of the slices in a 7 x 13-inch baking pan, then press 20 vanilla wafers into the cake.
- Make April Fools' Day Tomato Sauce:
Mix 3/4 cup strawberry jam with 5 crushed Oreo cookies. Spread half of the mixture on the wafers. Mix 3/4 cup ricotta with 2 teaspoons sugar; spoon half on top of the jam. Top with 1 sliced banana and half of the pudding.
- Repeat with the remaining pound cake, 20 more wafers, the remaining jam and ricotta mixtures, another sliced banana, and the remaining pudding.
- Grate white chocolate over the top, sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers and mint, and refrigerate until set.
