Christmas cookie dip

Ingredients:

  • 60 g of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 cup chilled heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate mini-granules + extra for decoration
  • Colored decorative sugar, for decoration (optional)
  • Salted straws, brownies, shortbread cookies, apple slices and strawberries, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Place the cream cheese, brown sugar, and salt in a large bowl and beat with a mixer on medium-high speed until smooth and fluffy. Add the heavy cream and beat again until thickened.
  2. Stir in the chocolate pieces using a silicone spatula or wooden spoon.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with chocolate chips and colored sugar, if using. Serve with dipping sauce.
