Chickpea and Hazelnut Chocolate Spread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1 cup canned chickpeas, rinsed
  • 0.5 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup olive or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. In a food processor, pulse the hazelnuts until they form a fine flour. Add the chickpeas and process until smooth. Add the coconut sugar, cocoa powder, olive oil, vanilla, and 1/4 cup water and process until smooth.
    Exit: 2.5 tbsp.
