Green pea puree with mint

Ingredients:

  • 500 g frozen green peas
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 large pieces of butter

Preparation:

  1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add chopped green onions, mint, and peas. Cover and let steam for a few minutes.
  2. Mash the green peas with a potato masher. You can also puree them in a food processor by simply blending until smooth. Add butter to the finished green pea puree and season with salt to taste.
