Fettuccine "Alfredo" topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 450 g fettuccine
- 110 g butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. freshly grated parmesan
Preparation:
- Cook the pasta according to package directions.
- In a saucepan or frying pan, heat the butter and cream over low heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle half the Parmesan cheese into a large serving bowl.
- Pour the hot creamy mixture over the pasta. Drain the pasta and immediately transfer it to a bowl. Toss a couple of times, then sprinkle with the remaining half of the Parmesan cheese. Toss, thinning the pasta with water if necessary. Serve immediately as a main dish or as a side dish with meat and salad. Delicious!
