Ingredients:
- 0.5 cups of sugar
- 45 ml silver tequila
- 20 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon orange confiture
- 60 ml of Prosecco or other sparkling wine
- Orange peel twist, for serving
Preparation:
- Combine sugar and 1/4 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves, 3-5 minutes. Let cool completely. The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks..
- Combine tequila, lemon juice, 15 ml of simple syrup, and orange marmalade in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until thoroughly chilled, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with Prosecco and garnish with an orange peel.
