Ingredients:
- 6 large limes
- 1.5 cups (350 ml) silver tequila
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) Cointreau liqueur
- 2 serrano peppers, thinly sliced (with seeds and membranes)
- 3/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Preparation:
- Prepare the glassesUsing a vegetable peeler, remove a strip of zest from one of the limes. Juice the limes; you'll need 6 tablespoons (90 ml) of juice. Spread 3 tablespoons of salt on a saucer. Rub the rims of 6 glasses with the lime zest and juice, then dip the rims in the salt. Fill the glasses with ice.
- In a pitcher, combine tequila, Cointreau, chili slices, red pepper flakes, and lime juice. Pour into glasses.
