Ingredients:
- 1 450g package of frozen peaches or nectarines
- 1 cup of sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Champagne or sparkling wine, to serve
Preparation:
- Make simple syrupMix sugar and 0.5 cups of water in a small saucepan and heat over low heat until all the sugar has dissolved. Pour the mixture into a container and chill the syrup in the refrigerator.
- Place all the frozen peaches from the bag in a blender, add the lemon zest and cooled sugar syrup; blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- To serve, pour the peach puree into champagne flutes and top it off with very cold champagne or sparkling wine.
